Discovery Days: May 28-31 K-State Campus in Manhattan.
This one-of-a-kind overnight camp gives all youth ages 13 – 18 an opportunity to explore 4-H projects, gain leadership and communication skills, and experience K-State’s campus. 4-H membership is not required. Campference and Discovery Days Scholarships
Our Johnson County 4-H Ambassadors group is excited to announce that we have sponsored scholarships for our Johnson County 4-Hers to attend two great state events: Discovery Days & Campference.
Campference: June 17-20
This event is for youth ages 12-14 (as of Jan. 1, 2013). Campference will be held June 17-20 at the Rock Springs 4-H Center near Junction City, KS. Participants will experience the feel of a conference while enjoying camp activities. Transportation will not be provided to this conference. However carpooling will be encouraged. Fantastic Four 4-H Overnight Camp: June 23-26

Rock Springs 4-H Center near Junction City, KS. All youth ages 7-12 are invited to explore the great outdoors, sing campfire songs and make new friends at the Fantastic Four 4-H Overnight Camp.

Summer Cooking Camp: July 16-18
This day camp series is sure to be a hit with your chef! Youth ages 7 – 11 will learn from the Extension Master Food Volunteers and local culinary experts. Campers will gain skills in food safety, preparation and nutrition through this hands-on series. Registration, payment and a Kansas 4-H Participation Form are due by June 15.

RSSC- Robotics, Science and Space Camp
This camp will be an exciting and interactive adventure for all youth ages 9-13. The Johnson County 4-H and Youth Development program is seeking science and technology enthusiasts to participate in a three day- day camp series July 16-18 at the Extension office. Each day will run from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. A completed Kansas 4-H Participation Form is also required for each camper.
Registration is due July 1.
