Personal History/Background


Valeria is originally from North Central Kansas, lived in Texas for 11 years and has called Olathe home for the last 25 years. She earned her bachelor of science in family and child development and her master of science in family economics, both from Kansas State University. She comes to Johnson County Extension after holding positions in product management, marketing and training with Sprint Corporation and Embarq Corporation in Overland Park. Becoming an Extension agent is the fulfillment of a life-long desire.
