Strong People

This is a twelve-week exercise program for middle-aged and older persons. Learn eight strength-training exercises that increase strength, muscle mass, improve balance, flexibility, bone and joint health and sense of well being. This program is easy, non-threatening and comfortable. You do not have to be “in shape” to participate. Applicants will be required to complete a Participant Summary Information Sheet, Medical History, Current Health Survey and Informed Consent Form. For participants who are 70 years or older, or for those with health concerns as reflected on the health surveys, a “Dear Doctor” Letter and a completed Physician Authorization Form will be required.
